Superior Gasket - Molded PTFE / 304SS Insert Gasket
Superior Gasket is a molded PTFE / 304SS Insert Gasket - manufactured and stocked for 150# and 300# class flanges. It is available in old ASA standards (3/32" and 1/8" thickness), as well as new ANSI standards (3/32" thickness). Our inventory includes a complete line of gasket sizes from 1/2” to 24”.
The high quality of Superior Gasket, its resistance to creep and cold flow, and its exceptional sealability are achieved by:
• Use of premium granular PTFE resin
• Wide reinforcing insert covering the raised area of the flange
• In-house designed & fabricated machinery providing proper centering of insert, high dimensional accuracy, and exceptional production repeatability
• Proper sintering cycle with stress relief holding steps
• Every 1/8" thick gasket passes a spark test exceeding 15000 volts
