Reinforced PTFE Products & Services

PPM’s advanced processing techniques include in-house fabricated systems and equipment that reduce operator error and guarantee repeatability of our reinforced PTFE products. Our manufacturing environment reduces contamination and renders the product ideal in the food and pharmaceutical industries. Quality control inspection is standard on every single gasket.

Superior Gasket is manufactured with old ASA standards in 3/32" and 1/8" thickness, as well as New ANSI standards in 3/32" thickness and is available for 150# and 300# flange ratings. Our inventory includes a complete line of gasket sizes from 1/2” to 24”.

Our blind gasket line, Superior Paddle, is available up to 10” flange size with a perforated stainless steel reinforcement, or can be manufactured with a stronger nonperforated reinforcement called Tuff-A-Lone.

Tuff-A-Lone, Superior Paddle and Superior Gasket retain the favorable properties of PTFE, including tolerance to a wide range of temperatures from cryogenic up to 450°F; FDA approval to contact food; and chemical resistance to virtually all known chemicals.

Additionally, we have supplied special molded PTFE products reinforced with a stainless steel insert, including: missile launching pads, gaskets for heat exchangers, non-standard ID/OD flange gaskets, and many others.  These are not stocked, but can be manufactured to customer specifications with a very quick turn-around time.
